How do we get the word out about this forum? This seems to be A LOT better than any of the other HD forums out there....but I don't know how to get users in here.

I think the posts that Admins have put on hdforums.com have been removed. What do we do? Any thoughts or ideas?

I came here after reading a post on HDForums. Now the tread has been taken down, that was about 10 minutes ago. Guess they think we are going to quit them if we sign up here.

Yeah, i saw the post on hdforums and came over here as well. I tried to post in the reply that is was a good site so it didn't look like spam, but they took it down anyway. I am trying to think of a way to let people know...

I posted a thread on buellxb.com. A lot of those boys are harley riders, so maybe we will grab a couple of them. I like this site a lot more than hdforums...its actually high-tech and isnt slow as balls.

We just launched the site yesterday guys after spending months in development. There are some other great forums, but we were tired of the slow loading outdated platforms. This is state of the art stuff. Welcome and enjoy. Its the members that make these forums great. Looks like a good start here.

Let me know if there is anything we can do better. A lot going to happen here in the coming weeks and months.

Why would you spam other boards to try to get new members here when it is clearly against their rules? Do you expect users to follow the rules here?
I really don't understand this mentality. Do you just feel like you are more important than the rest of the world and the rules don't apply to you? Please explain.

Okay, my 2 cents worth....You can't Spam the other sites as that will rub the Ultra Loyal wrong....Not that you were Spamming to start with.

I would say to do the best you can and let word of mouth take the rest on.

Photo posts as we all know that everyone has the best looking what ever Harley and we are all way to Proud to get bet out.

Humm, Maybe a metric...So yah Wanta Be Forum.

I am sure the word will get out as one forum is rude for the most part and the other is closer to watching Paint Dry.

Tomorrow is another day and maybe 5 new members.

I would like to know who you think spammed who? Not our style. Unlike most forums we are not here to line our pocket books. We are here for the members. We love the challenge to make and build the best Harley site on the net and we will. Some will see that when they come over. Eventually we will look back and see that we offer the best technology for the members and invest back into the platform here as much as we can. We will add Video and cover all the shows we think you guys (men and woman) think we should. We are all in!!!

Now back to spamming??? Who and when and where?

Richard

If you belong to non HD sites (noncompeting site like golf, fishing, cars, planes, etc), make a post over there as there are a lot of guys that have other hobbies but also ride.

I am an infrequent user of forums but have been searching more and more. I would think if you can get members to post on some of their social networks, face book, twitter and such it would help get the word out. I am not an expert on Google but I believe with out any expense there are ways of tying certain searches and have the forum pull up for instance if some one is searching for Harley Davidson Forums have us pulled up as a result, I don't believe it does right now and unfortunately I don't know how to exactly do that. Then Word of Mouth. Just my two cents. Posted Image
