Whose tried installing air suspension here? I have heard good things about the Shotgun Shock Air Ride kit, and it is currently going for fairly cheap. How difficult is the installation? Would you recommend air suspension, and if so, what brand?

I personally do not have an air suspension kit on my bike, but I have ridden on a few. I'm not too sure about that model, if your going to make this upgrade, I'd say spend a little more. Some of the legend systems out there are great, and fairly cheap. They are really smooth rides, and I too am looking into putting one on. If you have the money, go for it, but don't skimp on the price! :good:

I ride a 2008 cvo, and I have stock suspension. I have seen air suspension kits, but do not think it is necessary. Harleys, primarily the newer models have great stock suspension, and unless it is really worn out, I don't see enough benefits to offset the cost. Just my opinion.

I've used several air systems. The only one I could truely recommend is Legend Air. Expensive, but a much smaller unit that will save HOURS on installation time.

Personally I'd go with the nitrogen charged Progressive setups.
